Persian calligraphy and gilding artists Ali Brahmani and Asghar Mohammadi from Iran stayed at our hotel.
The Gapar Aitiev Museum of Fine Arts has opened their exhibition.

The art of decorating the text is called "tasheeb" (gilding). This is how the Arabs and later the Persians used special patterns to decorate the Koran.
The artists' works are challenging.

Some works take up to a year to complete.

The artists also held workshops for residents and visitors of the city.
